Bind by ID
A binding connects a script path to an authored Cell ID or Actor ID. The object name is not the binding key. Two objects may share a name while keeping separate script bindings.
Choose the attachment
Use a Cell binding for a Cell script. Attach a Module beneath an Actor for Actor behavior. See Actors and Modules.
Top-level startup code does not require an entity declaration. Lifecycle functions require the matching attachment; declaring on_ready() alone does not make it startup code.
Missing bindings
If Output reports that no binding exists, check the target ID and script path. Renaming an object should not require switching to a name-based binding. See Script errors.
